The Rohde & Schwarz NRV-Z51 thermal power sensor is designed to meet rigorous requirements for measurement accuracy and compatibility. Covering a power range from 1µW to 10W and a frequency range from DC to 18 GHz, this sensor excels in precision. The NRV-Z51 is capable of accurately measuring both continuous wave (CW) signals and the average power of modulated or distorted signals across the specified frequency range. This sensor is particularly suited for power measurements at power amplifier outputs and on modulated envelope carrier signals. Notably, their linearity remains consistent regardless of frequency, ambient temperature, or waveform. With only 0.5% or 0.02 dB contribution to the measurement uncertainty of the NRV-Z51 sensor, its impact is minimal.
